I had to give up my sewing machine to the repair shop today... now I know how my daughter feels when her Elmo doll goes into the washing machine...
As an artist there are tools we can live with but cannot live without... when you have an idea and a project in mind... but you have to remove the element that would help to see that project or idea through... what do you do? Obviously I have put my current project on hold but the momentum has been lost... will the same enthusiasm remain once said required tool is returned... Well, it all comes down to how bad do you want it and are you willing to wait for it...

I found these rings at work a while ago and they ended up in my junk bin until I was trolling the web one day and got the idea to turn them into goggles. Since they were already chrome I decided to keep the silver theme thus the black leather. If I could find another pair of rings in brass or find more chrome and get them brass plated that would be perfect. As far as this pair I want to find some little Victorian embellishments to finish it off. Anyone know where I could get brass rings?
